The Tablelands has some great options for riding loops, downhill or simply exploring. Regular events attract riders from across the region.

Herberton 8 Hour

This is an 8 hour endurance cross country race for solo, pairs or teams of 3 or 4 riders and is held at Tepon Equestrian Park, Herberton. Set in the high country behind Cairns on the Atherton Tablelands with a starting elevation of 915m above sea level, the course is 13.5km in length and has 260m of climbing and descending per lap.

The 2011 H8H is scheduled for 7 August 2011.

Registration cut-off has been revised to 30 July!
